Apple Pie Smoothie

I have been drinking the Pumpkin Spice Smoothie I posted for a few weeks now, thoroughly enjoying it. I was ready for a change this weekend and I came up with this smoothie to ease my apple dessert craving…I hope you like it!

Refreshing and healthy, this smoothie just might keep you away from that last piece of pie.

Apple Pie Smoothie

1 banana, preferably frozen

1 small apple, cored and peeled (I didn’t peel mine)

1 1/4 cups apple cider

1/4 cup milk (I used coconut)

1 cup yogurt (any kind, but I prefer Greek, plain)

1 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp nutmeg

2 cups chopped ice

Put everything in the blender in the order as listed. Blend until it is smooth. If it is still too thick, add a bit more milk.

What do I love about this recipe? It is quite refreshing and healthy! Plus, it makes enough for 2 people.

What don’t I love about this recipe? Nothing…I thought it was quite good!
