Pumpkin Spice Smoothie

If you are a pumpkin lover like I am, you will love this high-protein smoothie. This recipe makes two smoothies….so you can share. (or have one later?)

Pumpkin Spice Smoothie

1 frozen banana

1/2 cup greek yogurt, plain or vanilla

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice (store bought or homemade)

1/2 cup non fat milk

1/2 tsp maple extract or 2 Tbs pure maple syrup

3/4 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)

1 cup ice

Add all of the ingredients to your blender. Blend until it is smooth (2-3 minutes). You can add more milk if it isn’t blending smoothly. Smile…you just did something really good for yourself! 🙂

What do I love about this recipe? I love the fact that it is high protein!

What don’t I love about this recipe? Nothing!
